Best Gifts Of 2020 - Gift Giving Guide

I have no idea where this year went. Summer came and went in the blink of an eye. It’s fall now, and the holiday season will be here before you know it. So, I thought it would be a good time to put together a “Best Gifts” list. A gift giving guide for everybody out there like me, who has no idea what to buy.

I don’t know about you, but as much as I love the holidays, it can be stressful for me to find the right gifts for everybody on my list. I can’t tell you how many times I have gone to sites just like this one, to get shopping ideas. Sure, you can do gift cards, but that always seems a little cheap. Like, “I wanted to get you something, I just didn’t want to put a lot of time and effort into it.”

Now that I am constantly researching and reviewing different products, I have no shortage of amazing gift ideas. I figured it might be nice to save all of my lovely readers some time and share these ideas. This year, you can look like a gift giving hero, and still get your shopping done quick. You’re welcome!

Best Gifts For Kids

Although kids are usually easier to shop for than adults, it’s still difficult to keep up with the latest trends and what the hot items are. Here are the top ten things kids are wishing for this year.

Baby Yoda - $59

This Baby Yoda is at the top of many a kid’s list this season. It’s actually called “The Child”, and is styled after the Disney + Mandalorian series. It features over 25 different sound and motion combinations, and is on Amazon’s Best Seller list.

Exploding Kittens - $19.99

This is a game that I actually own personally, and I have to say, it’s a lot of fun. It’s super easy to play. If you don’t like reading, they have an amusing instructional video on You Tube. It’s sort of like playing UNO except that it has goats, magic enchiladas, and cats that can kill you. It’s great for both kids and adults.

Nat Geo Slime Kit - $29.99

No matter how much I try to stop them, my kids are always making slime. This slime kit from Nat Geo is actually pretty cool. There are 8 different varieties with each one having a unique special feature.

Magna Tiles - $49.95

My kids have these, and they are a legitimately fun toy. They have almost 3,000 five star reviews on Amazon and I can understand why. Even I like playing with them from time to time.

They are great for encouraging creativity and ingenuity, and a nice alternative to screen time. There are some copycats out there of inferior quality, so make sure you get the real deal.

They also have a 100 piece set for $113.

Gotta Go Flamingo - $19.97

Here’s one of those toys that adults find annoying but kids love. If you’re an uncle it’s a must buy. It sings, it talks, it poops, and a bunch of other things. The food is re-usable which is nice, and the price is right.

Just don’t wait too long, because these little guys are selling out.

Best Gifts For Teens

It happens…kids get older. In fact, it happens a lot faster than you might think. One year they are asking for Gotta Go Flamingo, and the next year they want iphones and air pods.

You know that awkward feeling when a tween/teen opens a gift and you can immediately tell that they think they are too old for it? Don’t be responsible for that. Here’s what to get the teens in your life this year.

Spikeball - $59.99

Spikeball is a really fun game that is super popular with teens. It’s great because it is portable and can be played almost anywhere. Backyards and beaches are some of the more common areas, but I even saw a group of girls playing in the airport.

This is an active game that encourages exercise. It’s sometimes used by professional athletes for cross training. You can’t lose with this gift.

Fitbit Charge 2 - $158.99

These wearables are only getting more and more popular, and Fitbit is one of the best brands in the game. This particular model has almost 11,000 reviews on Amazon.

I tracks your heart rate and activity level, helps to maximize your workouts, gives you an understanding of your fitness level, monitors how well you sleep, and even notifies you of calls and texts. There are several different colors and sizes available on Amazon.

JBL Wireless Earbuds - $59.95

This is a great gift for kids of all ages, or even adults for that matter. I have two pairs of wireless earbuds and I use them almost every day. These JBL buds are affordable and great quality.

JBL Charge 4 - $129.95

Yes this is another bluetooth music item. What can I say? Teenagers love music.

This speaker pumps out amazing sound for its size and price. It has tons of great reviews on Amazon and is available in a rainbow of colors.

Best Gifts For Men

Don’t know what to get your guy this Christmas? Fear not! This list is your salvation. It’s a curated selection of gifts created by guys, for guys. Check it out.

AleHorn - $20 - $65

These Ale Horns are so cool. They come in several different styles and sizes, they have excellent customer reviews, and they are an affordable gift.

You can also have them custom engraved, which is a nice way to show a little extra thoughtfulness.

Plus, what guy wouldn’t feel more like a man when drinking out of a huge horn?!

BattlBox - $30 - $160

Subscription boxes are the new thing and this has got to be the coolest one out there.

BattlBox brings out the little boy in any man and will have him waiting at the mailbox each month. These boxes contain some of the best handpicked survival and adventure gear available.

There are four different subscriptions to choose from as well as multiple different items in their online shop. The value of the items in the subscription boxes is often double what you pay for the box, so it’s a great deal.

Steaks And Game - Price Varies

They say that the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Well here is a surefire way to find out.

Steaks & Game has a huge selection of mans favorite food…meat. We aren’t talking about your everyday supermarket meat though. These guys have Wagyu beef, prime cuts of venison, bison steaks, and all kinds of other game animals. They even carry exotic meats such as ostrich, alligator, and kangaroo.

Help your favorite guy feast like a king this holiday season with Steaks & Game.

Beard Octane - Price Varies

This is a hip company that has lots of great gift ideas if your man has a beard. All of their products are top quality and are handmade right here in the USA. They are also all natural and cruelty free.

From soaps, to oils, to combs and brushes, these guys have it all. Orders of $75 or more get free shipping, and they have a cool rewards program too.

Solo Stove - $70 - $475

Solo Stove has invented the perfect fire pit. These things light easily, burn hot, and don’t smoke. Which means, you can have all the fun of a campfire without having to shower and wash your clothes afterwards.

They come in several different sizes and they even make a grill. The smaller ones are easily portable and designed to be used for camping and backpacking. The larger ones make great fire pits and can be used on your deck or in your backyard.

This is a great way to get outside and enjoy time together with family and friends.

Best Gifts For Women

Guys, I know how hard it can be sometimes to find the right gifts for the women in your life. Let us help you out.

Hush Blankets - $100 - $300

Hush Blankets

I have on of these, and it is fantastic! I don’t know all the science behind how they help you sleep, but I know they work. The sense of security and serenity that you feel when you climb under a weighted blanket is really remarkable. I had no idea until I tried one for myself.

Hush blankets are super high quality, and very well put together. They have a 100 night free trial, so you don’t have to worry…If you don’t like it, you can get your money back.

LashLiner - $55

These guys were first on the scene with the magnetic lashes and liner that have become so popular.

In my opinion, they are still the best, and their prices are reasonable.

Doughp - $37 - $69

Doughp Cookie Dough

I have tried this stuff personally and it is absolutely delicious. In fact, it’s really hard to put down.

Doughp makes a great gift. Especially if you are shopping for someone that you won’t be seeing, because you can have it shipped right to their door, and shipping is free!

Teadora - Price Varies

Teadora crafts amazing skin and beauty products made from Heirloom Brazilian Botanicals. Their founder grew up in the Amazon Rainforest, and the company is dedicated to saving and restoring our precious natural resources.

Monster Pub - $37 - $69

This certainly isn’t a gift for everyone, but for the right “special someone” it could be a homerun.
