You’re probably familiar with names like Hydro Flask and Yeti, but you may not have heard of Iron Flask yet. If not, that’s a shame. I think you’re missing out.
Honestly, I hadn’t heard about them either until just recently. Since I run a product review site, I decided to investigate them, and I really liked what I discovered.
These guys offer all of the features that the big name brands boast about, at about half the price. I’m talking 18/8 Stainless Steel, 24 hour cold times, premium powder coating, and lifetime warranties. Not only that, but they throw in a couple extra features…all at half the price!
I was impressed, and I think you will be too. Check out the review.
The company was started in 2016 by three friends who had a dream to create the absolute best sustainable water bottle. They wanted to do something big to help the ocean and the environment, and they saw a need for water bottles that were cool, effective, and durable, but that didn’t cost a fortune.
Enter…Iron Flask. What started out as one style, in one size and color, has grown into a huge selection of top-quality water vessels.
18/8 Stainless Steel: You won’t get any more durable than stainless. It doesn’t rust, doesn’t transfer flavor to your water (like plastic does), and it helps to maintain temperature.
24/12 Cold & Hot: All of their water bottles are double walled and vacuum sealed. This means your cold drinks will stay cold for up to 24 hours, and your hot drinks will stay hot for 12.
Powder Coated: Ever try to paint stainless steel? It flakes. Paint just doesn’t hold up. Do you know what does? Powder coating. This is why all Iron Flasks are professionally powder coated, providing you with years of colorful enjoyment.
Every water bottle or tumble comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. You can sign up online, it only takes a minute.
They offer free shipping on all orders of $10 or more and free expedited shipping on all orders of $50 or more, to the contiguous states.
The company currently offers a variety of sizes of water bottles, tumblers, and also some nifty accessories. I’ll break these categories down a bit and show you exactly what you are getting when you purchase an Iron Flask.
Iron Flask has lots of water bottle options. you can get them in sizes from 12oz to 64oz, and they come in a myriad of colors. You also get to choose between narrow mouth and wide mouth as well as decide whether you would like a straw top or a spout top (I like the spout).
All of the wide and narrow mouth bottles come with three lids (a nice extra). The only one that doesn’t is the retro model, and that one comes with a bottle cleaning brush, which is great for cleaning those narrow necked bottles.
These stainless steel insulated tumblers are cool. You can get them in 16, 24, and 32 ounce sizes. They also come in several colors. I especially like the gradient ones.
Each tumbler comes with two stainless steel straws and two straw cleaning brushes, which I thought was pretty nice.
Iron Flask offers a few simple but high-quality accessories so that you can upgrade your water bottle if you so chose. They are useful and inexpensive items such as protective boots and paracord handles. They also have replacement tops, brushes, and straws.
Well, I am officially an Iron Flask fan.
In my opinion these water bottles perform just as well as the other big name brands. They are made out of the same stuff after all. They really do keep drinks cold and hot for as long as they claim, and they only cost about half as much as some of the other options out there.
If you ask me, that’s a pretty good deal. Should you decide to get an Iron Flask for yourself, I would love to know what you think. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message. Thanks for reading!
