Milspin is an All-American company, run by a couple of All-American guys, and we couldn’t help but love them. They make really cool things out of metal. Things like Tactical Belts, Glock accessories, Hats, Harley Davidson stuff, and even Custom Grill Grates. Their patriotic spirit is infectious, their tag lines are amusing, and their fans are crazy about them.

Who Started Milspin?

Milspin was founded by brothers Chet and Dana Peters. Chet and Dana served as Recon Marines, then went on to engineering school when they got out of the service. As they made the transition from Marine to machinist, they decided to open up a small metal fabrication shop in Columbus, Ohio. This is where they are located today.

As patriots, and veterans, Chet and Dana wanted to create products that reflect their support for their brothers in arms, and their deep love for America and the ideals it was built on. To put it in their own words, ” we found our niche making high end CNC products for American patriots.” As you peruse their website you will see that almost everything they create has a patriotic theme to it. They even have a dedicated section for Thin Blue Line items.

The Peters brothers felt like most Americans were tired of mass produced junk that comes from overseas and doesn’t hold up to every day use. They dedicated themselves to creating something better, and judging by their sales, I’d say they have succeeded. They currently process about 2,000 orders every month, and they are still growing.

Milspin Covid Key

The COVID Key is Milspin’s latest offering and is a great American Made alternative to the cheap knock-offs coming from China. These keys are made from 260 Brass Alloy and act as an extension of your hand so that you don’t risk infecting yourself by touching surfaces in high traffic areas.

The key can be used to open and close doors, flip switches, pull levers, push buttons, and even sign credit card machines at your local grocery store. It is completely touch screen compatible and you get a great discount if you buy more than one.

I think these keys are a neat idea. They are very versatile and will come in handy during flu season every year, not just during COVID-19.

Milspin Tees

These shirts are comfy, athletic cut, and proudly screen printed in Columbus Ohio. They have tear away tags, so you don’t have to worry about anything poking you in the back of the neck, and they are all covered by Milspin’s 100% no-questions-asked refund/return/exchange policy.

Steel Plated Hats

I thought these were really cool, and something I hadn’t seen before. Everyone has the hats with the velcro patches on them, but nobody is sporting hats with 20 gauge stainless steel plates. The plates are machine engraved and secured with four industrial strength rivets. There are lots of plates to chose from, or you can even get them engraved with custom text.

Cobra EDC Tactical Belts

These tactical belts are the real deal. Milspin partnered with Cobra Buckles to design one of the toughest belts I have ever seen. They have a 2,000 lb tensile strength and the Cobra quick release is the only stab-lock style fastener that absolutely will not open under load. On top of that, Milspin ads a custom emblem of your choice, made of 304 Stainless Steel, and fastened on with industrial strength rivets. Like everything else in their product line, Milspin’s vehicle accessories are heavy duty and built to last. I think they look great, and if I had a Harley I would definitely be ordering one for myself. One thing that’s worth noting… these designs aren’t laser etched. In fact, nothing Milspin does is laser etched. Everything is meticulously engraved with their industrial CNC mills, so it will never wear off.

Harley Davidson Points Covers

These points covers add a great custom touch to any bike. They are built from high quality 303 stainless steel. They come in gloss black, matte black, or polished stainless, and there are hundreds of designs to chose from.

Harley Davidson Derby Covers

Milspin’s HD Derby Covers are made from Aircraft Grade 6061 Aluminum and come in tons of different designs. They are powder coated black and come in matte or gloss. Just make sure you measure the diameter of your cover before ordering.

Milspin Custom License Plates

You wont find a heavier duty license plate. These things will probably last longer than your vehicle. They are double layered and cut out of two sheets of 1/8″ steel. They are then hand ground and powder coated, for ultimate durability.

Milspin’s Slide Back Plates are precision machined and meticulously engraved. They are made from either brass or stainless steel and will look fantastic on your Glock. There are 10 pages of different designs to choose from. The hardest part is knowing which one to pick.

A custom magazine base plate is a quick and easy way to customize your favorite handgun. These ones are made from Cerakoted Stainless Steel and are built to take abuse. There are tons of designs to chose from.

I think this category is super creative, especially the whiskey stones and solid metal coaster sets. They aren’t something I would have thought of when first learning about Milspin, but after I saw them, I loved them. And heck, the are so heavy that they could double as a weapon in an emergency!

Whiskey Stones

Milspin’s Whiskey Stones are a fashionable way to keep your drinks cold without watering them down. They are made from high grade 303 stainless steel and machined into an exact cube. You can get them custom engraved with more than 100 different designs, and the cool thing (pun intended) is…they reach freezing temperature in only 2 hours, which is about 3 times faster than ice.

Bottle Openers

These bottle openers can be engraved on both the front and the back, and they are made from 15 gauge, 304 Stainless Steel. They come in multiple different designs and finishes, and they all look fantastic.

Solid Metal Coaster Sets

These things are monsters. You get a set of four, and you can chose a different engraving for each one if you want to. They are made from 3/16″ stainless steel and they are heavy…really heavy. I wouldn’t want to drop one on my foot. Speaking of feet, they have rubber foot pads, a stonewashed stainless finish. Plus, if you keep them in the freezer when they aren’t being used, they will even serve to keep your drinks cold.

I loved this company from the moment I first discovered them. As I stated in the intro to this review, I always like to support American businesses. Especially ones that are owned and run by veterans. However, even if I wasn’t a huge fan of the owners, Milspin still would have gained my approval because of the amazing quality of their products and their excellent customer service.
