Ignite Lip Plumping Gloss is the latest addition to Tori Belle’s ever expanding product line. Last year they came out with Velvet Kisses Lip Gloss. Then, around Christmas time, they released a 24K Lip Gloss that has flakes of real 24 Karat Gold in it. This newcomer is a lip plumping gloss, which is something new for Tori Belle.
We’ll take a closer look at Ignite, see what CEO, Laura Hunter has to say about it, and learn why it’s a bit different than some of the other plumping gloss’s on the market today.
We were impressed with this lip gloss. Tori Belle always says that they won’t release a product unless it’s never been seen before or it’s better than anything else out there. Well, lip plumping gloss isn’t new, but Ignite takes it to the next level.
A lot of plumping glosses out there use ingredients like cinnamon, wintergreen, capsaicin, caffeine, ginger, or menthol to irritate the sensitive skin of the lips, causing them to swell. Manufacturers then have to add more ingredients to soothe your swollen lips.
Needless to say, this isn’t comfortable, nor is it good for your lips. As Laura stated in the video, Ignite uses Microspheres to enhance your lips. Microspheres are tiny molecules that absorb the moisture already existing in your body to make your lips look smooth and full. They don’t burn, they don’t irritate the skin, and they aren’t harmful in any way.
When you put Ignite on you will notice a tingly, icy/hot feeling. It’s not at all painful though. In fact, it feels quite nice. Once applied it starts to work almost instantly and within 2-3 minutes your lips will be noticeably plumper and more full looking.
For now ignite comes in one color. A soft pink. It goes on easily with the included doe foot applicator. Ignite is full of ingredients that nourish your lips and it will keep them hydrated for hours. Also, it’s made right here in the USA!
Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Pentaerythrityl Tetraisostearate, Tridecyl Trimellitate, Butylene/Ethylene/Styrene Copolymer, Ethylene/Propylene/Styrene Copolymer, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Ethylhexyl Palmitate., Dipalmitoyl Hydroxyproline, Menthoxypropanediol, Flavor, Vanillyl Butyl Ether, Tribehenin, Palmitic Acid, Stevia Rebaudiana Leaf/Stem Extract, Tocopheryl Acetate, Sorbitan Isostearate, Trihydroxystearin, Water, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Sodium Hyaluronate, Amorphophallus Konjac Root Powder, Silica.
Apply just like regular lip gloss using the marvelously large doe foot.
We were already a fan of Tori Belle before we wrote this review. In fact, you should check out our Full Tori Belle Review if you haven’t already. They are modern, innovative, and their products rock. That being said, we would have been a fan of Ignite even if we didn’t like Tori Bell.
It just makes sense. It gives you the benefits of a lip plumper without the drawbacks. It’s safe, effective, and good for your lips. If you are looking for a lip plumping gloss, this is a great alternative to any of the traditional brands.
